The Navara D22 DX 4x2 features a 2.5 litre common-rail turbo diesel engine with 98kW of power and 304Nm of torque with a 5-speed manual transmission. Safety features include driver and passenger front SRS airbags, Limited Slip Differential and ventilated front disc brakes. Front seatbelt pretensioners, side intrusion beams and an energy absorbing steering column enhance safety further. The robust Navara D22 DX exterior has a separate ladder-style chassis and six step cross members to give it additional strength and rigidity for long-term durability. It has a 1,500kg braked towing capacity. The interior has a front bench seat featuring air-conditioning, AM/FM CD tuner with MP3/WMA compatibility and vinyl floor covering to handle the tough Australian conditions.
